St. John's Provides
Opportunities!
Our mission statement says that we provide living
opportunities within nurturing environments of hope,
dignity, and love. We strive to provide those opportunities
for those entrusted to care, but we also strive to provide
those same opportunities to those who work with us. Whether
you are a high school student looking to a future college
education or an employee who wishes to improve yourself
through furthering your education, we can help you achieve
your goals.
The Career Ladder Program
St. John's Lutheran Ministries wishes to encourage
people of all ages to further their education and prosper in
their careers. We especially encourage people to further
themselves in areas that benefit the long-term care
industry. In an effort to assist our employees financially,
we have established a career ladder.
Tuition Assistance
Employees at St. John's become eligible to further their
education after one year of employment. Certified Nursing
Assistant qualifly for loans to obtain L.P.N. training, and
L.P.N.s are eligible for loans for R.N. training. Employees
must meet specific criteria.
Loan Repayment
St. John’s is willing to assist eligible employees to repay
debt incurred in obtaining education as an L.P.N. or R.N.
L.P.N.s are eligible for up to $3,000 in loan repayment and
R.N.s are eligible for up to $4,000. Employees must meet
specific criteria.
