Basic Information
St. John’s Center for Generations operates two state
licensed childcare facilities. The Center for Generations
primary program is licensed for 77 children: 22 children
ages 0-2, and 55 children over the age of 2. It is
accredited by the National Association for the Education
of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC accreditation assures a
high quality, early childhood program. The Center for
Generations School Age Care Program is licensed for 50
children, 1st grade or age 6 to age 12.

Does my child’s provider have to complete a background
check?
Yes! All care providers must complete a criminal background
check, adult protective
services check, and a motor vehicle background check as
mandated by the State of
Montana. Additionally, St. John’s requires all employees to
complete a reference and
background check as well. Regarding your child’s provider,
each provider much submit
a Personal Statement of Health, be trained in CPR and First
Aid, and continue to receive
child development training on an annual basis.
